Is the stimulus check export tax free?

or is it considered income on your next tax return? I know it's not much, but that would be loving of messed up having to give hindmost 10% at least to the tax man.

Answers:    The stimulus sum is not taxable income. It is an advance payment of a toll credit that will be settled on your 2008 tax return. If the 2008 credit turns out to be more, you'll get the optional amount at that time. If the 2008 amount is less, you don't have to settle it back. Win-win situation!
Stimulus rebate is not refundable or taxable income. on the other hand, if you do not receive full amount of $600 presently, then you may get the symmetry amount when you file your 2008 return, and you become eligible for the tax rebate.
