Does anyone know within what generous of writ the gov't will be mail out stimulus checks?
For example: Is the gov't sending out the first checks to the people that filed first and after so on? I didn't file until the end of March so does that niggardly I'll probably be waiting a couple more months? Thanks!
Answers: As long as your return was processed by April 15th you will recieve your rebate according to this schedule:
You can just get direct deposit if you recieved your federal tax return via direct deposit by the IRS (if you recieved any other type of settlement you will get a paper check this includes but is not set to any type of rapid refund loan that be direct deposited into your account).
DIRECT DEPOSIT
Last two SSN digits: Payments will be transmitted no later than:
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16
Paper checks will also go out base on Social Security number. For Social Security numbers ending in 00 through 09, the newspaper checks will be mailed starting May 9 and will continue through May 16. A similar process will be repeated contained by the following weeks.
PAPER CHECK
Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed no later than:

10 through 18 May 23
19 through 25 May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13

If you run to http://www.irs.gov they have a calculator that you can use to see how much you will get fund and they also have a link that tell exactly when people should be getting their check debited to their bank account or mailed to them. It doesn't hold anything to do with when you filed if you file on time. I reflect it has to do with the end 2 numbers of your social security #...the first checks being dispersed May 19. surrounded by order by the last two didgets of your social indemnity number
