Claiming a newborn for income export tax?
i have a alien born that was born unsettled dec 2007. can i claim the baby? i tried entering him but didnt put within child benefit amount (we havent received any), so it refused the newborn. btw im in canada, if it make a difference. thanks!
Answers: I don't know almost Canada. I had one of my kids contained by mid December a few years ago, and yes, I did get to claim him and draw from a deduction.
