Will I enjoy to settle up uk customs duty?
I've ordered lb190 worth of herb and incense from an online store in america... will I enjoy to recompense customs charge when they take deliver here within the UK and if so, how much would this be?
Is near any path of avoiding the charge? Could I ask the shop to write that it is a offering on the front?
Any proposal would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Bit belated very soon isn't it ?
Typically one and only items of lb30 or smaller amount are passed through minus charge (this is NOT 'the regulation' == it's a casing of so much stuff coming in that Customs can't cope == so they focus on the difficult efficacy stuff first ... if your pack arrives next to profusely of other complex worth, you will be OK - save & they are bored, they will still 'do' you ..)
One item I won on ebay USA for $350, I be charged a total of lb90 .. this consisted of 17.5% VAT, Import Duty and roughly speaking lb25 contained by Handling Charges .. (different Couriers charge different handling - I believe FedEx is one of the worst for handling charges BUT they will retribution the Customs charges for you, deliver the bunch to your door and collect the money = others merely vacate your parcel at Customs and expect you to sort it out )
Another time I won two USA auctions at more or less lb35 respectively and the street trader 'bundled' them together surrounded by matching bunch (and still charged me 2x postage :-( ) .. however the packet must own arrived on a busy daytime because I recieved it short paying any Customs charges
You're not suppose to pay that due... I base this answer on no stationary foundation, but I consider it to be truth, settlement beside it
