if i'm on a take-home pay of lb12,500 and i work more than 44hrs per week. this will bring my remuneration down below min wage does this count? or am i self picky?

If aged 22 or over ,current minimum wage is lb5.35 per hour.
44 hours per week X 52 weeks per year x lb5.35 per hour = lb12240.80.
For a net of lb12500, maximum hours to be worked should be 2336 per annum (12500/5.35).
2336 per annum = 44.9 hours per week. (ie almost 45 hours).
Therefore, if you are working more than 45 hours per week you are mortal remunerated smaller amount than the minimum wage.
