If I don't owe money contained by taxes to the gov't but haven't file within a few years will I own to earnings a levy?

I haven't filed my taxes contained by a few years but if I did the government would hold owed me money. Do I still get fined for not file my taxes?

Answers:    There is no penalty for bomb to file a levy return if a refund is due. But by waiting too long to record, you can lose your refund. In proclaim to receive a refund, the return must be file within 3 years of the due date. If you record a return, and later realize you made an error on the return, the deadline for claiming any settlement due is three years after the return was file, or two years after the tax be paid, whichever expires subsequently.
The penalties and interest are base on what you OWE. if you get refund, then they are nil. You have a maximum of three years to report before the refund go to the national debt.

Eg, 2004 forms must be file by 4/15/2008.
You are required to file every year by April 15th, not unless you request and extension to directory.
Even if you don't owe you must file ASAP, if you own not filed your 2004 taxes you must folder on or before April 15-2008 to qualify for the return. Filing after the 15th of April 2008 you will not get the repayment.
File immediately in the past IRS files for you and you will owe lots of penalties.
yes you will still attain fined. I have no hypothesis how much, but I know quite a few empire who did the same entity and even if they got a return the penalties get deducted from the discount.
