W2 problem?
grr i had posted this grill before but i accidently put i did enjoy my w2 but i dont.
so here it goes again.
i worked at abercrombie for 6 months ultimate year and i still HAVENT recieved my w2, how do i get it...what if they report to me they already mailed it? other place i can draw from it?
Answers: You can only grasp it from Ambercrombie. If they said they mailed it, linger a few days for it to arrive. If it doesn't arrive, contact them again. If you don't get any gratification, contact the IRS.
According to the IRS:
If you do not receive the missing or corrected form W2 by February 15th from your employer/payer, you may call the IRS at 1-8OO-829-1040 for assistance. You must provide your moniker, address (including zip code), phone number, Social Security Number, date of employment, your employer/payer's name, address (including fastener code), and phone number. The IRS will contact the employer/payer for you and request the missing form. IRS will also send you a Form 4852 (PDF), Substitute for Form W-2 or Form 1099-R.
If you do not receive the missing form surrounded by sufficient time to file your excise return timely, you may use the Form 4852. If you receive the missing or corrected Form W-2 or Form 1099 after you file your return and a correction is needed, use Form 1040X (PDF), Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. Refer to Topic 308, Amended Returns, for auxiliary information.
They should be able to transport you another one. That's pretty much your only path of getting it.
