ROTH 401K contained by PA?

Salary is 52000/year.

Federal gross - 52000
Roth 401k Contribution - 2600
State wages - 54600

I'm trying to find out an issue with a friends W-2. She works contained by PA and her W2 indicates the values above. Is she being double-taxed on her state taxes. Just wondering if her company is incorrectly reporting her state income.

Answers:    A roth 401k is an after duty contribution... There shouldn't be a difference between state and federal. Her state salary should be $52,000. It looks to me similar to something is wrong.
Are you sure it's a Roth 401K she is contributing to? It looks like the amount have been excluded from her box 1 federal gross, and if it's truly a Roth, it shouldn't be. If it's a traditional 401k, and that's much more adjectives. If it's a Roth, her contribution should be included in the federal gross fairly than being excluded pre-tax.

Including the 401K contribution contained by the state income amount is correct. PA doesn't allow exclusions for 401K or IRA contributions whether they are Roth or traditional.

The non-taxability of Roth retirement accounts is at the federal level. PA doesn't import tax pensions anyway, no situation what kind they are.
what's it right to be heard under the Social Security wages? That's the knob.
