Will I catch at tiniest a $300 rebate check ?

Hi Everyone. Here's my situation, but I asked a couple people, and they weren't sure.

- Single
- I'm living at college
- Made over $4200 later year
- I think my parents claimed me as a dependent
- No children, or dependents of my own

IF in that is any other pertinent info that you all necessitate, let me know. Thanks!

Answers:    If your parents claim you as a dependent, you will be ineligible for the rebate, but you may still benefit below the plan.

While the rebate depends on your 2007 status and income, it is actually a rebate toward your 2008 taxes. According to the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, taxes would be cut within 2008 from 10 percent to zero percent on the first $6,000 dollars of taxable income for individual taxpayers.

So if you hold taxable income in 2008, you will see a rates cut when you file surrounded by 2009.
If you were claimed as a dependant, later no you will not get that rebate check.
