As a business when I issue 1099's what form do I involve to directory by Feb 28?
Can someone please tell me what form I stipulation to file as a business? I enjoy issued 2 1099's to contractors but I am unsure what I need to report. I know there is a due date of Feb 28 and this year it is Feb 29
Answers: Form 1098 (which is the transmittal) is due at the cease of the month. I believe the 1099's were due at the closing stages of January.

You need to record the 1099 copy A (red copy) and the 1096 summary return by Feb 28th. You can't print these off of the IRS website permeate them out and file. However you can decree the forms from the website free of charge.
