How various hours can my student son work past it affects my benefits?
I own a 17 yr mature son who is a full time (4 days a week) student, he is hopeful of starting a slice time undertaking soon and I wondered whether in that is a maximum amount of hours he can do past my benefit is artificial.
Answers:
Your benefits will bot be artificial as he's beneath 18 & after it would single be your housing & council rates benefit
Depends what benefits you are on, but it shouldnt affect your benefits at adjectives really.
Its his income not yours.
Sure he can work--- It is his income check. This have no stance on your benefits and your recompense check of employment.
Your benefits would just be artificial if he be your partner or husband, not your son.
If he get carer's allowance for you, I imagine it would be artificial if he worked more than 16 hours per week, but you'd hold to check on that.
Yes it will effect your benefits.and dependent on what he earn and if he still studies will get adjectives the difference so i could not give an account you the amount of hours which will amend what you recieve
If you receive housing/ council export tax benefit these will be effected
Income support should remain the same
Child benefit / Child rates credits.which i hope you are still recieving ? (u should be as he is in full time educ) will also be effect .
When he starts work.transmit duty credits straight away because you will finish up beside an overpayment and the longer you go off it the more it will be
it wont affect ya benefits at adjectives until he reach the age of 18...when he is 18 he become a non dependant...if he continues to study afta 18 IE uni he will not be living at home so ure benefits wont be artificial..if he doesnt verbs his studys consequently the the benefits will drop slightly have he will be elidgiable 4 working ..so they assume he can repay towards his keep hold of ..
