Claiming stern Tax Cedits?
My mum recently found out roughly speaking Child Tax Credits and realised that she could have be claiming them for a number of years. She will be putting surrounded by her Tax Credits application now but will simply be able to claim a few months of money until that time my brother is too old for claiming them.
I touch it is such a shame that she missed out on all those years of money she be entitled to.I have hear she may be able to claim subsidise a couple of years of the money. Can anyone give me more details of whether or not this is true and how to do it?We live within the United Kingdom.
Answers: In the US you can go subsidise three years to claim unclaimed credits. I'm not up on tax codes within the UK.
the general rule is that if you dont apply, you dont bring back it back
the application can be backdated but individual for 3 months from the initial date first contact is made. There may be an appeal proceedure but given your circumstances may prove difficult, the whole rates credit system is riddled with errors, and the helpline is not valuable if anything is out of ordinary. I hold found that the local MP has a nifty track system to bypass the helpline re hardship cases, try yours, you never know!
construe they will only backdate to the starting point of the tax year, would still be worth it tho
Doing my taxes? College tuition?
Qualifying for those charge returns.?
