Customs Duty on LCD TV's contained by India - NRI?

I live in the UAE and intend to purloin back an LCD eyeshade for my family vertebrae home in India. The cost of the TV within the UAE should be approximately US $ 1000 (INR 40K). Can anyone please explain to me the customs duty that i might have to wage in India.

Do NRI's enjoy to pay customs duty for products required for their family use;
If yes, what is how much is the duty for LCD peak TV's; and
How much is the basic hold back (on which no customs duty is payable) for taking back electronics to India.

Would appreciate if someone can furnish me early and accurate response.

Answers:    Dude...even I am planning to help yourself to a 32" LCD (Bravia V Series) to India from Abu Dhabi...I checked the customs website..the limit is 25k, above that you enjoy to pay at 37% duty..which for Rs 40k comes to around Rs. 4500
