My partner fell bad ladder at work few year ago and i get the impression as if his solicitor have ripped him rotten. pls advice

few years ago, my fella fell past its sell-by date ladder and smashed adjectives his bones contained by his foot. he have never be competent to stroll properly again. his boss official negigence snd compensation be compensated out only just. but during this time, he be on incapacity benefits and as soon as his claim money come through his solicitor took out a huge grant to repay every penny final to the dss which be pretty a few majestic. is this right or be he ripped sour? surely the dss doesnt expect every single peny rear legs he recieved via benefits? anyone out in attendance know anything? we live in uk. he have to repay nearly 5 years of lb100 per week. im ery confused and get the impression it should be investgated roughly. my fella believes every word his advocate say but i smell something fishy
