Today I recieved a Kans CYTAX return but I never ever lived within Kansas, I'm not sure what this is in the region of...?
I checked the check to make sure it be legit as far as the water flaw, signatures and the seal but I'm still lost on why I recieved this check. I already recieve both my federal and state taxes weeks ago. What should I do?
Answers: Well within is more than one Kansas City. I know about two...Kansas and Missouri.
If you never lived within either of those states, I would suggest looking at your W2...to build sure the company you work for didn't make a mistake.
Even if this is the overnight case, I would suggest calling the taxing authority to find out. I would also suggest that you contact the Social Security Administration to insure someone isn't using your SS#.
I can assure you that they just don't distribute out checks for no reason at adjectives. You might also want to check your credit report to insure everything is okay there too.
