Gift rates interview?

Does anyone know if Kentucky have a endowment toll?
My wife and I made a grant of material estate to a child. It falls underneath the exclusion amount for federal purposes (although a form will own to be filed) but I don't know if my home state of Kentucky charges levy on gifts; and if so, exclusion amounts, forms, etc.
Thanks.

I tried to find answer to this grill. I could not find any information around the Gift import tax contained by Kentucky, which imply at hand is no contribution tariff provision within Kentucky.

However, Kentucky does hold Inheritance and Estate taxes. Its booklet Guide to Inheritance and Estate taxes say: It say "Spouse, Parent , Child, Grandchild, brother, and Sister are Class A beneficiaries." Also, "if the date of annihilation is after June 30, 1998, adjectives Class A beneficiaries are exempt from paying Kentucky inheritance levy."

From this, one could verbs that even if within is a grant excise provision, most promising, a contribution to a child is exempt.

On the end page of the Guide to Inheritance and Estate taxes, in attendance is a Contact detail for Kentucky local service centers.
Start beside the state trellis site, which probably can be access at www.state.ky.us. Look for a connect to the state Revenue Department, and that should receive you pretty much near.
The single states that enjoy contribution taxes are CT, LA, NC and TN.
