Why do I owe excise money?

I am 19, I made around $1862 working this summer with 2 job, and combined with total around $42 state income charge. One site tells me they will return me $10 then another one say I owe $10. I don't have any problems near Misc income or any other thing to matter with. Plain and simple, 2 job and the info I gave roughly them. Can someone tell me why I get such different outcomes and what is generally right for situations approaching mine?

Answers:    You should've claimed 0 on your w2 form, so that little to virtually nothing will be owed by you. When you claim 1 or more you catch less taxes deduct from your paychecks, but at the the end of the year you will owe more money. If you claim 0 later you will get the most taxes deduct from your paychecks, but at the end of the year you will owe virtually nought. Unless you filled out a miscellaneous 1099 form, which intended you were working as an independent contractor, which also expected you have to filch care of your taxes on your own.
You've messed something up on one or both sites. You should gain the same result on both.
