Answers:    its anywhere from $600-$3000 I believe. but if you owe the IRS money. I dream up that they will deduct from that.

If you are not a dependent, you directory a tax return, and hold at least $3000 income from any combination of earn income (from a job), social security disability or ss retirement, VA disability, or railroad retirement, you would be eligible for at smallest $300, and possibly as much as $600, per person ($600-1200 on a shared return), plus another $300 for each dependent child below age 17. If you don't meet the above requirements, next you wouldn't get it.
