How do you find out what you should claim on your w-4 so you don't owe?
Are there table or guides anywhere to help you digit out what you should be claiming on your W-4's? I feel totally clueless and lately guess each year.
This is the first year my husband and I are claiming a in one piece year as married jointly. We owe $10,000 between state and feed.
Last year we got going on for $3,000 back but we one and only claimed married for 3 months of 2006.
Anyhow, I'm just looking for guidance to lend a hand us out for next year. We don't own kids and we don't own a house. We are getting screwed. I was claiming Married and 1, and he claimed Married and 2. Now our import tax advisor says we should jump all the course back to Single and 0. How do I know what's right contained by the middle for us?
Thanks!
