I hold be divorced for nearly 5 years, I am current on adjectives child support, and recompense robustness insurance for my child. I enjoy a well brought-up relationship near my presently remaried ex wife. The debt seem to be hers but I realize that I am responsible for partially, as it be incurred during our marital.
I live a unbelievably thrifty lifestyle, and spend my disposable income on my child (whom I enjoy custody every weekend).
Judgement requires 75% of my disposable income, I made smaller amount than $1700 final month and be above my average.
I requirement to know:
Nonexempt earnings
Statutory exemptions
Disposable earnings
I am not above paying my portion of our debts, but cannot survive plausibly beside smaller number income.
Answers:
Since you are an IC, you don't hold any wages that can be garnish. Lucky you.
Talk just about getting the shaft. Friend you hold be shafted. You want a legal representative big time. It might not cost you as much as you might see considering your predicument. Not purely any hack legal representative will do. You requirement one whose specialty is devorce directive and garnishments.
If I'm reading this pattern site correctly http://www.child-support-collections.com... Colorado singular allows a maximum garnishment of 65% of one's disposable income.
Regardless, you are an independent contractor and not an hand. Meaning technically you don't own any "wages" to be garnish.
