I moved to a bright state on 1/1/08. Must I still compensate 2007 state income export tax to my mature state?

What is the penalty if I don't?

Answers:    Yes! You pay packet 2007 taxes to the state you lived in. If you don't, it will bear a couple of years to catch up to you and after they will file a tariff lien and you will not only hold the penalties, but also the interest charged for adjectives that time. Also, you need to put together sure you prove to them that you moved in 08 so that they won't come after you for those taxes as powerfully.
Well, yes, you lived there within 2007, didn't you?

Penalties vary by state. Just pay cheque it - they WILL come after you otherwise if you owe more than a few dollars. And if it's just a few dollars, why not basically get it out of the route?
If your earnings contained by the "old state" be above that states filing requirements and you have earnings within that state you should file a return surrounded by that state. The penalty for not file if you are required to do so would depend on the level of income, excise due if any and the amount of time until you do file if so required.
If you did not owe any due or very little they are not potential to do anything. If you owe thousands they will track you down in your alien state and garnish or levy everything you hold.
