Self Employed Health Deduction?

I am a self-employed sole proprietorship, but my wife has a regular 40/hr profession, and through her, we get vigour insurance. We pay profoundly more for me to be added into her plan as a spouse. I'm wondering if we can deduct the extra amount we own to pay for me, over the much lower amount she'd pay cheque if it were just for her?

Thanks.

Answers:    No.

Chances are (99.9%) that the health insurance that she pays comes out of her paycheck "pre-tax" designation she is not taxed on that amount. As you received the charge benefit on the front end, you can not reduce by it on your return.
Even if it wasn't pre-tax money, you could only discount the after-tax payments on schedule A.

Being added to her strength plan would not meet the requirement of have a plan established in the identify of your business.
