For those that are finling for the stimulus costs do you own to wallet a state form?

Im filling out a 1040A for a individual that only get Social Security so they will the get the 300 check surrounded by May, and wasnt sure if i had to profile a state form also?

Answers:    Hi. Nope, this is a Federal check only. The States are not participating. In incorporation, there are eight States that do not own income tax.
If the friend that you are doing income taxes for have at least 3000 within income, they will receive the stimulus payment. Some are amending their returns.
Some recipient of the benefits described above may have file a 2007 tax return reporting at smallest $3,000 in qualify income. They do not need to do anything else. They will open receiving their stimulus payments surrounded by early May.

Others may necessitate to amend a previously filed charge return to include benefits to reach the $3,000 qualify income level. Adding these benefits on an amended duty return will not increase an individual’s tax liability but will establish eligibility for the stimulus money. Taxpayers can use IRS Form 1040X to amend a tax return within order to qualify for the stimulus allowance.
Nope - The IRS only looks at your 1040 and does not supervision about the state return.
