Haven't Filed Taxes?
My gf just moved surrounded by with me and i've be doin my taxes every year. (well not me, an accountant)
She has *never* done hers, shes 21, and be in college until this year. What should she do, and what information should she try to amass before she give it to an accountant? Can she claim all her years of college still? does she have need of her T4's from her part time living for the past years? (waitress by the way)
Answers: she requests T4s from every year. She could ask old employer, or ask the CRA for copies of her old ones.
She'll inevitability copies of her education forms from her college / university. They might be capable of give her out-of-date copies.
Then she should be able to profile her back taxes.
Btw, you don't necessarily stipulation an accountant for simple returns. Intuit sells elder copies of quicktax on their website.
