What to do give or take a few taxes..?

My husband and I got married within Dec. of '07. I know that with man married he can claim me as a dependant now next to being surrounded by the military. I'm 19 now and even though I lived next to my parents for more than 6 months of the year in '07 because of trying to find a place to live cant they still claim me as a dependant for that year? And also since they're helping me remuneration college tuition and stuff. I know for my husband and I we could save if we simply did a joint tariff form. How would all of that work? What would be the best point to do?

Also, would anything happen if my parents and my husband tried claiming me as a dependant? Even though we didn't draw from married until end of Dec. and weren't enrol in DEERS until Jan.

Answers:    If you gain married on Dec 31st, you are considered married for the entire year. Your husband can NOT claim you as a dependent, you are a spouse. Married filing combined is your best status. Also, even though your parents paid the tuition for your college, you may claim the credit. Not your parents because you are not their dependent.
The IRS computer is pretty up to date on a social financial guarantee number being used more than once. They also love charging interest and penalty.
The IRS will not let both claim you! he probably does not net that much! You should talk to your father and hold him help you want what is best, since they did help you out.
