Taxes and Interests?
Just a thought i'm throwing out here. If the goverment owes you money the owe you no big deal. If you owe the goverment money they charge you interest. Don't you mull over if your owd money from the goverment you should get interests?

If the refund is made in 45 days after the due date of your return, no interest will be paid. If you directory your return after the due date (including extensions), no interest will be paid if the return is made within 45 days after the date you file. If the refund is not made inside this 45-day period, interest will be remunerated from the due date of the return or from the date you filed, whichever is next.
But, remember (as one of the other people mentioned), you control whether or not you are due a compensation (by properly completing your W-4 form).
