I hold some comic books that be moved out to me. I don't hold time to record them on ebay.
I know relatives do this for a living and am wondering what percent they charge. I assume it is base upon selling price.
Thank you.

I believe you are conversation of services such as iSoldIt http://www.isoldit.com - they essentially switch the entire ebay selling process for you.
Their commission is simply 30% of the amount the item's selling price
http://www.i-soldit.com/fees.asp...
Plus, they will subtract from you the selling fees incurred as okay as donation processing fees.
Simply put, they are not cheap. But if you don't enjoy time or dont want to be under pressure taking photographs of the items or erudition how to trade on ebay, they can clear you better money than downright throwing the items or giving them to charity.
For example, you supply through them a scrapbook utensils that ends for $20 -
TOTAL PRICE = $20
LESS:
iSoldit Commission (40%) = $8
Listing/Gallery photo allowance = $0.70
5.25% excise = $1.05
Payment processing levy $.30 plus 2.5% of the total transaction helpfulness (sales price, shipping & handling and sales tax) = $1.10
So you will finish off up next to $10.20 more or smaller number. Think if this is something you'd want
Aside from isoldit, at hand are other similar services but I regard the fees are more or smaller number one and the same.
I regard that you can ask the 50% of the profit, after have deduct the expenses for register your books. Be well thought-out to specify if your books will shift on a separate ebay store or directly on ebay traditional listings, so that you can ask more if the owner of an ebay store sell items professionally. I convey you this because seo is an significant thing especially if you own a domain given name and you want to do some ecommerce an close to to ranking dignified within the explore engines. well ebay already charges you a commission base on the final selling price...in that is also a register price of almost 40 cents a address list. I hold no view how much someone would charge but i would surmise 20- 30% bc within adornment to making the book, they own to run pictures, collection, and deliver for you. It might be smaller amount if you do some of that work yourself.
however, I would recommend doing it yourself...newly provide them slowly...it take minutes to net a index and you can use equal template for respectively list if you use html within your address list.
