Can I register a business name in my state if that name have a trademark on the federal website??

Hello, I want to amenable a store contained by South Carolina call "Baby Buzz". I did a check out for the pet name at the SC Secretary of State website and here is no business beside that entitle. But I did a trademark turn upside down on the Federal Government website, http://www.uspto.gov, and I fould that Baby Bliss already exists contained by the results. Does that stingy that I cannot register that describe?

Yes and no. Mostly no. Although the business describe is not found on your state's website, you can still be liable for federal tradmark penalty. With that human being said, if someone did not renew their federal trademark after 6 years, next you can legitimately use that dub.
