Event planning portfolio?
How do I build my portfolio. I enjoy a couple of clients that I'm working for free for (letters of recommendation) and I be wondering how to build a portfolio.
Is it similar to a models book where on earth they hold on to their snapshots of what they've done? Or is it online?? Help!

I would do both. Have a photo album next to pictures of the event, and thank you junk mail or packages of reccommendation. I would ensure at hand be information give or take a few the type of the events you manage (budget, number of guests, etc.). I would also post this information online so potential customers can research you and your experience. If you own corporate clients you can also hold a "client list" that shows the name of the companies you hold worked for. Ask the those who made reccommendations if it is okay if a potential client call them for a referance. Also, be sure to preserve totalling to your portfolio everytime you hold a tentative event. But, be sure your paying clients sign a photo release if you plan to post their pictures on your website. Otherwise, you can one and only post pictures of the event-setup.
Have post of recomidation within near. Pictures of you working I don`t know? The actulal papers/project you hold done you can put within near too. GOOD LUCK!
