What is a succesful color?

Answers:
strong bold colors indicate nouns, purple, blue, black, whereas more pastel colours appear soothing and peacemaker

For what? promotional stuff? depends on what the business is.

Blue is suppose to indicate honesty and truthfullness, but if want to shut in attention you might want to rethink that.
