Small Business: How Do I Go About Getting Both A Trade and Service Mark?

I own a website that have a extremely rare moniker. The autograph presents my heading but initials. My question are:

#1, How do I turn almost checking to see if this mark is NOT taken any where on earth as a service indicate?

#2, If nobody owns this signature, how do I turn almost getting a service fleck? What is the cost?

#3, As for trade mark- I know those are for logos. I've created a exotic logo and have the post bureau register it to my heading within a closed envelope. So this shows I own the logo. Cheaper way- this okay to do?

Trade mark doesn't hold to be a logo individual. Your signature can be trademarked too. Create your initials in a personal style. First, check beside the US and State Trademark organization. Local Trademark department should provide rummage through service at a justifiable cost. The other route is to ask an attorney to record the trademark.

There are two types of Trademark filings; Federal and State. State is cheaper.

Sending yourself the current logo is well brought-up. Send it to another friend or customer out of state is better since it establishes interstate trade and provide better protection.
Go to http://www.uspto.gov
You'll find adjectives of the instructions for file a trademark and a service mark.

Good luck
