Can I place the Return Address at the Bottom of the Envelope?
I am currently have my envelopes designed next to my company logo and address on it. The graphic designer placed my logo within the upper left appendage corner of the envelope where the return address is supposed to be.
The return address is presently along the bottom of the envelope in single rank format like:
11123 xyz st., island city, IL 33382 <6 spaces from the address is my domain> www.xyzcompany.com
I am confused if this is going to result in my mail to be sent hindmost to me after spending good money to own my envelopes printed.
Thanks for all your abet!
Answers: The USPS advises that we put the return address at the top gone, noting additionally that it should be on like side as the delivery address.
I enjoy both sent and received mail beside the return address on the back flap minus trouble, so it may be those are only suggestions and not policy. The USPS is pretty flexible in the order of some things...they delivered a coconut from Hawaii to Maryland that be addressed next to a marker (true story!).
I would be concerned that the return address at the bottom would interfere next to reading the zip code.
Their flexibility notwithstanding, you may not want to try-out their advice beside your business mailings. Even if they do not return the pieces, they may be delayed in processing.
the top disappeared is the best choice ..
