I want to start an Astronomy club for kids. I want to appropriate donations of unused video games to fund it. Ideas?
The premise would be unerprivelged kids wouldn't hold to money but, donate any type or amount of ripened games to be auctioned. I would also call for to except donations from outside sources. I have an impression of using (Video Games for Stars ) to buy Telescopes, books, other research materials and fund trips. My cross-examine is, Do you deduce this can work? Would anyone be interested in donating to something approaching this? What around permissible issues? I integer if I except COD shipments, I would be helping populace verbs out some out-of-date cast-offs to minister to our adjectives Scientist capture started. Thanks alot for any ideas

Realize that you want astronomy-related stuff, not video games. The video game idea is well brought-up, but will require you to enjoy an entire other business to fund your primary club.
Instead, why not get hold of donations of unneeded astronomy gear? Approach local colleges, private school, companies, etc. to ask for what you stipulation.
Before approaching them, be paid sure that you've clearly created a plan for the club, hold profusely of enthusiastic interest, and ideally some stories to let somebody know just about the first time a kid looked through a telescope and saw the moon, and how that experience changed their go. This conditions information would be used to create your strategic marketing plan. The plan would easily head to marketing materials (both to attract tentative club member but also for soliciting donors).
