EBAY what are your experiences ,any pitfalls?

Started bad as an occasional buyer, very soon hold my own business, so I guess I believe it's great.
Some rudimentary guidelines to ensure your experience is a worthy one:
- fashion sure the soul you're buying from enjoy a accurate height of feedback (I prefer 99% and upwards, over 100 feedbacks). Just check what their feedback is for, because they might enjoy lately bought 100 1p e-books within the final 2 days newly to try and be paid themselves look legit.
- if it's a business vendor (rather than personal) next you enjoy more rights e.g. you hold the right to return the produce inwardly 7 days if you switch your mind.
- while you've get more of a fate of getting a barter near a private retailer, trust your instincts - if it looks too suitable to be true, it almost really will be
- if someone's solely used 'chief' pics of an item, ask them to rob some pics and convey them to you, only to prove that they really enjoy the item.
- other, other ALWAYS repay next to Paypal if you own any providence that the transaction might not be straight. If someone won't adopt paypal, i other clutch that as a doomed to failure sign. You own no protection paying by any other scheme. Even near a neophyte wholesaler, you'll draw from up to lb150 protection, up to lb500 near a more experienced, reputable dealer (like me!)
It's great fun and almost other a large amount as long as you follow some central guidelines and don't acquire too greedy (no-one sell a brand bright Wii for lb20!)

Dont use their postal service...its cheaper going to the post organization.

EBAY have be pious to me. Always check up on the dealer though, gross sure they're legit by reading through their comments. One foremost entry to look out for today though is shipping costs. EBAY seller gouge on shipping costs sometimes, don't be sucked in!
A total cockup from the start and they expected me to still cough up money for their systems ball up.
I told them where on earth to stick their charges and complained bitterly and you know what, the cheeky f*ckers still tried to cart expenditure by Direct Debit despite me recitation them that the item I tried to roll wasn't and when it did the book be incorrect.
They excluded me from buying and selling
Deal honestly. Beware of scammers, both buyers and seller. I've have both to agreement next to. Accept that you may loose any stuff or money or both occasionally ( closely smaller number than within a 'dignified street' shop though). Check others feedback rating and use your own judgement on whether to settlement beside them or not. Remember nearby are fees to income to ebay, sometimes its straightforward to forget these. And if using their paypal system, again fees, (extortionate) and the rearrangement (not too bad) of transferring money from it to your own information.
I know a few population who enjoy be stung by scammers on ebay. It can be a dodgy place if you don't know what your doing. I tend to stay away from it now, too much hassle.

If you get hold of scamed report it to the police as it is fraud, they enjoy broke the statute and you want them charged.some police forces will try and forget it but hold on to on their crust.
Ebay will not dispense the police or anyone else much info quoting the Data protection deed.
I other move about to streetmaps.co.uk and check address next to the postcode if it dosent game later dont buy and report it to ebay.
