How to start a business beside shared equity but near owners living in different countries? (US & Indonesia)?

I am starting a business scheme next to an overseas engineering squad. I live contained by the US and they live within Indonesia. We are seeking an arrangement where on earth both sides will share equity surrounded by the project. How can this arrangement be structured? What methods will hopefully minimize rates implication? I am a US citizen, and my partner is not.
