Answers:
First a tractor go through and cuts, rake, and bales the hay.
If you're lucky, the baler will throw them onto the truck. If you're unlucky, after YOU'll give a hand throw them on the truck.

The truck will consequently help yourself to the bales to the barn. Most places, you put the bales on a conveyor belt and somebody get them contained by the loft and puts them away.

This is for square bales. Round bales are much larger and heavier. They'll usually be moved by lift up.

As you might guess, it's like mad of easier said than done, physical labor. Drink plenty of wet. And wear a bedside light, LONG sleeved shirt. Otherwise, you'll receive a "hay rash" from the straws scratch your forearms.
