In Alberta, I am the director of a federally incorporated entertainment company.?

My husband owns a standard contracting company but it is registered as a sole propriatorship. It have become necessisary for him to operate lower than an incorporated company. Can he operate his business underneath my incorporated company?
Would my corporation hold to purchase his registered company? Any philosophy where on earth I can find information more or less this online?
