This is exactly why magazine are full of ad.
Just hold the website. Most culture don't hold time to read magazine anymore. Most magazine collect their costs near advertisement. And advertisers want to know family are going to read the magazine beforehand they buy announcement space. Starting a magazine is a costly proposition, doable with the sole purpose by the big corporate publishers such as Time, Inc.
I used to love Breyer horses. I have nearly 10 of them when I be little!
Kinko's is expensive anyway. They charge you more for convenience and hand-holding. Call around for a professional printer that specializes in printing and binding the type of materials you want to print. The more size you print, the lower the cost per item.
You distinctly can go and get sponsors, more appropriately call advertisers. You will charge them base on circulation and the announcement size, so if you don't hold a circulation, you might hold out some open-handed of a circulation guarantee for their money and reimbursement them if circulation is too low. Then it's your responsibility to find the circulation. That's right, you're selling on both ends!
It clearly can be done. Just look at adjectives the free magazine and the Fourth Estate at your grocery store or on street corners. They are adjectives salaried 100% by exposure. Given that your magazine exists so you can put on the market stuff, that is to say what you want to strive for - a free magazine.
Try to find business that are in your pasture but won't be competition...perchance stables, boarders, trainers, ferriers, vet, etc.
