What style of home repairs do not require a character to be licensed or insured?
My husband is looking to do some side job until he can find something more stable. What can he justifiably do (Ohio) short forking out a bunch of money for insurance/licenses? He is experienced in heaps areas such as drawing, drywall, mat, plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc. and is freshly looking to do some minor work, no main renovations or anything. And merely on a conditional idea, not a permanant business endeavour. I don't want him to achieve within any allowed trouble for doing work he isn't licensed to do. Any suggestions?

You'd hold to check near your local elected representatives on that one. Each state have different rules, and respectively county and even respectively CITY have different rules on who they allow to steal out permit and stuff.
In my town, if I do the work myself on my own house, I own no problem near a permission. However, if I want someone to do my roof, that roofer have to be registered near both my city AND my county and enjoy proof of insurance and bond and license on database!

That's if you're going to go the court eagle route. Your husband can in recent times push "SIDE JOBS" and his tel # at the local grocery store. Some ethnic group swear by Side Job Steve's and stuff close to that.
My piano lecturer pays her "side charge steve" 15$ an hour change to cut her grass, fix her gutters, paint her steps, etc.

There is nothing he can do lacking a contractors license within any state. He can't even paint a room in need a contractors license. If the homeowner complained to the state DOL he could be fined. As the occupancy states side job are fine as long as not a soul complains.

He could stick to something as simple as grass mowing in need a license, but for everything else he must be licensed and registered next to the state for contracting work. He should travel do Merchandising work, they clear 8. to 12. hr for thousands of types of job. He would be an independant contractor and requirements no experience, but bettter probability if he have some retail work surrounded by his enthusiasm time.
