I inevitability some ideas/input on starting a small used clothing/used music shop?
I own my own home and I have a nice garage seperate from the house that I want to sort into a used clothing/used music shop. I'm off a most important highway that is sour of a major interstate so I conjecture if I just puff well I could do pretty appropriate. I'm a huge thrift store shopper and I can find all the appropriate clothes cheap, fix them/add my own little touches like bracelets, sequins, etc, with shoes, and jewelry and also used cd's or anything to do next to music, instruments, posters, etc. I really want this to be a bang but I want and kind of input you can contribute me on ideas, public relations, shop names, be I can find good closeout deal, just doesn`t matter what! Thanks for you help! :]

You are going to move about to thrift shops, fix and decorate the clothes, AND hold a shop open? What will you do next to the other three or four hours a week, sleep or eat? Sounds resembling you will only own time for one or the other. Consider finding a small shop that will sell your goodies "on consignment". Almost any small shop will consider it, unless your stuff competes next to theirs (i.e. a new clothes shop) or they don't enjoy the space. Also, you may be in for foremost zoning hassles wit a business contained by your garage. Check first. If your consignment business takes stale, you can take on organization, and then plain later. The personality who has be selling your consignments may even be willing to be a partner to give a hand you raise income. Hope this gives you directions for your own research. Put everything down contained by writing and make a business plan. BTW, highly few small businesses make you rich. Maybe one surrounded by a million. But it does feel apposite to lock the door of your shop at the end of the afternoon and say "thats mine!
