Do i risk infringing copyright law when i puff another company products on my website?
i am a re-saler who has purchased the products from the authorised distributor.
for example, i bought a Big Mac from McDonald's which i want to consequently re-sell. am i allowed to advertise the Big Mac near a picture on my website? i am not going to use the McDonald's logo.

Answers: When you buy a product, it is yours to do with as you longing. You PAID for that right and took ownership of it. People re-sell copyrighted material adjectives the time. If it was private to do, they would have to shut down eBay and every classified flier website on the internet. Selling used books, CD's and DVD's are just a few examples of this. Believe me, nobody is going to sue you. I enjoy personally sold used items and used the company logos and photos of the product as sector of the ad! I never asked go-ahead to do this and I have never be sued.

I watched a TV show years ago more or less a guy who had patent for the products he was making but he found out that Asian companies be simply copying his designs and selling them much cheaper. He spent MILLIONS on lawyers suing them and never get them to stop. In the end he fixed that it was much easier to ask those companies to wage him a small royalty fee a bit than throwing his money away on lawyers and unwinnable lawsuits. He found that most of the companies be agreeable to paying him the small royalties in exchange for him agreeing to license them to craft his products.
Never be afraid of lawyers or the governing body or you will never be a businessman.
