Why, on Amazon UK are small items sold for 1p when sold from 3rd gala shops or 2nd mitt?

Are they trustworthy? Why would anyone supply something for 1p (almost no profit), are they trying to unlawfully appropriate money from my reason once they enjoy my details?

Answers:
Amazon force the seller to charge lb4.50 for the first Kg of cargo surrounded by ANY command. It might cost 50p to distribute so what some nice seller do is charge you a 1p, plus the lb4.50 they are forced to charge you and bring in their money on the postage money.
The seller dont truly attain your details. Amazon run the money and wages it to the salesperson lacking revealing anything except the term and shipping address. Its a similar process to Paypal.
There is no more risk to you next next to any other dealer on Amazon and Amazon will return your money if you dont achieve the item you ordered. They after chase the retailer.
Most feasible they've stuck a massive postage cost on it...but you enjoy to walk to the cheque out bit until that time they utter how much the postage is...annoyingly.
I purchased something for a penny but the postage be where on earth they earnt their money, I don't know how they did it because I go tyhings also and amazon customarily net the most money from postage, and the street trader still have to pay cheque postage anyway.
well

when I bought a flipside prospect mirror for $1

the shipping costs be $12

still cheaper than $70 that it would hold cost
Check out the postage costs e.g. a book sold for lb0.01 can enjoy going on for lb3.00 added for postage ,Amazon thieve away the peddler fees and the trader get slightly a bit more than lb0.01 for their trouble. The salesperson doesn`t filch money from your side - Amazon does to settle up the purveyor.
