Answers:
Apply to local hotels etc. near your CV and a covering notification to combine their workforce. Any work surrounded by a hotel is a well brought-up starting place to gain to know the industry. Be prepared for VERY long and unsociable hours, poor foot and dealing near bolshy customers - but at tiniest you will be getting experience.
The role of Restaurant Supervisor is a great place to start (in the UK, salary start at around lb14,000 - but these can ebb and flow greatly). This role may not be where on earth you ultimately want to extension up - but it'll afford you a great insight into the work of an Events Coordinator or Wedding Planner.
Hotels are other looking for staff. Look on the Jobcentre Plus website:

Good luck!
That sounds resembling a sad work
I suppose firstly you settle on what exactly you will be offering / providing as chunk of your service.
Then base on this, do your research eg/ contacts, suppliers. .
Then start public relations, internet, flyers, phone books, journalists ect..
Good Luck,
I would check to see whether here is a local even planners association in the vicinity me and I would try to attend one of their meeting. It would be a great opportunity to grating and find out who the local event planners are and maybe you can obtain a available job as an apprentice to one of them and catch to swot the ropes while getting salaried.
I would also contact the local Convention and Visitors Bureau and try to get hold of from them a record of the local event planners or cooperate to the event manager at the local hotels and see what they hold to read aloud.
Hope this help.
Starting a business... A 1/8 MILE or 1/4 MILE DRAGSTRIP!?
Name for my business?
What type of retail or service business do you be aware of is scarce surrounded by your neighborhood?
EBay miscategorization problem? Listing removed!?
