Does a employer check reference if they aren't interested in hiring you?

I have an interview yesterday and today one of the individuals I put down as a hint told me they be contacted by the business I applied for. Would they be checking reference if they weren't interested in hiring me? Do they check reference for everyone even if they do not want to hire them?? Thanks for your time!

Answers:
Typically an employer will not check reference if they are not interested in you as a hopeful. Checking reference after an interview is particularly a upright sign! You must hold done okay within the interview.

Good Luck!
