Who pays for Gardner?

I hired a Gardener for $45, in California. I asked the Landlord to pay for partially and refused. Who's responsible for mowing the lawn, zilch stated on our Residential Lease agreement

Answers:    If it is a house the renter is responsible. If it is an apartment complex the landlord.

Either way, you hired the guy, he is your contractor, you reimburse him. You can not hire on the landlords behalf unless he asked you to.
I am betting the term gardner is not
listed but i am betting inside and
outside "maintenance" is down.
