Would I be able to trade my home for a new home? I'm looking to move and would approaching to get into a new home and money the difference into the new home. The contractor would come out with 2 extra buildable lots plus house on 2 lots. Do contractors back make that work out for a person?

Answers:    Depends on how desireable your building lots are to the builder. Will he enjoy to apply & complete the short plat process or have you already done so? Builders will only pay cheque so much for "lots in the raw" which is much less than have to go through the short plat process.
