I want to rent a commercial space and my innkeeper requirements me to execute my own background/credit check. I've never have to do this back, as adjectives my previous landlords did this for me. Is this landlord-to-be only just languorous? Or is this regular? He also suddenly requests to lift up the deposit, even though we agreed (verbally) on a lower price. Should I tramp the other road?
