Affordable housing in london?

I would really love to buy my own place but house prices are style beyond my conquer. I earn almost 30k and could probably bump up a small deposit. I am also a management defined 'push button worker'. All of the push button worker scheme I enjoy looked at are problematic for two reason - 1) the are flippin tiny and built out of cardboard. 2) they are not bloody affordable at adjectives - shared ownership = clear mortgage and bloody rent service charge and bills = more than lb900 pcm for a tiny pokey flat!

Anyone get any design - preferably I resembling elder buildings too, wouldn't mind doing work on it cos house are adjectives within the trades . . .

I'm going through like peas in a pod piece as you. My girlfriend qualify as a switch worker but the houses they build are so shockingly low level that I wouldn't want to recompense for one. We currently foot lb1200 for a spacious one bedroomed flat, but still cannot find anyone to donate us a fully clad satisfactory mortgage to start a kinfolk home. It's getting ludicrous.

I'm seriously considering moving out of London, a short time ago so we can enjoy a duration outside of work.
do what I did and my friends down the pub did - move further north.. much cheaper.. you grasp loads more for your money. at the moment!
wow ur a switch worker & u earn double what i do. I really dont read between the lines why keyworkers housing is funded...

where on earth surrounded by london are u guys living ? my 2 bed flat is lb380 a month and is singular 15 years old-fashioned. my rooms are average 17 ft by 12 ft and is modern.
Affordable housing in London doesn't exist. My husband and I are in matching situation as yourself & aren't eligible for knob worker scheme. We are a moment ago going to hide away up and buy somewhere further away to rent out until we can afford something where we want to live.
Have you ever thought just about buying near a sibling/friend/partner? Or somewhere outside London and commute?
