Trying to sublet my place but current roommate will not cooperate and sign sublet agreement. relieve contained by Chicago?

Landlord asks that current tenant and subletter sign the agreement. I enjoy associates that own agreed to rent, but roommate won't collect beside them to sign. Is near anything I can do?

Yeah, be really nice to your roommate! There is no decree that he/she have to sign the agreement but FRIENDS commonly do things for one another.
you cant force them and i dont blame them. what if they dont take-home pay the rent, your roomate is responsible for the rent since he is on the lease.
