Boyfriend's parents selling us their home?

My boyfriends parents want to move away to a different state and we were looking for our first home surrounded by the area they currently live within. So his parents decided to agree to us make payments through them on their house, that would bring the price of the house down over a long extent of time. We are planning on paying them payments till we bring the price down, and have apt credit so we can get a loan for the house through the guard. However, my boyfriend and I feel that since we are paying payments on the house, it is properly ours to do whatever we want near it. Well, his parents said that we can paint whatever rooms we want. Except the kitchen, and no remodeling.And they are departure a lot of their stuff at the back.Do you think that its ok for them to own a say within the condition the house must be in and what rooms we cant do anything near? And for them to leave their stuff bringing up the rear? It makes me upset, because this would be our first home, and I want to kind changes. Im worried they will bring back mad.


Answers:    Officially it is NOT your house. Officially you are a renter and they are the home owners.

You hold no legal rights to even paint w/o their consent.

If you want it officeholder GROW UP and buy the house from them. This will not be your "first home" until you do.
It is not your house, you are renting it from his parents and they are the owners. They would need to trade it to you and have the creation transferred for the home to be yours.
